7. The FPI is solar powered. It is independent of the line. It works
with a battery which lasts up to ten years. It is a (LiFe P04)
battery.
8.The FPI has a built in GPS unit which makes it easier to identify
problem areas.
9. 15 – 20yr guarantee or the life of the line it is on.
10. The FPI should be installed in place and not moved around.
11. The FPI is installed at every T-off on the lines.
